Danny Ball - Xtreme Martial Artist Free Workshop

The Norwich Black Belt Academy is delighted to welcome Xtreme Martial Artist, Danny Ball, to teach a series of free workshops.

The classes will take place at the Black Belt Academy off Magdalen Street, Norwich on Wednesday 14th March from 5pm.

Renowned performance martial artist Danny Ball is travelling down from Doncaster specially to bring his exciting performance and unique style to children and adults in Norfolk. Xtreme Martial Arts combines several martial arts styles with high flying acrobatics, gymnastics and dance with spectacular results.

Richard Bennett Under 9s BNMMA 2006 Karate World & International Champion

Richard Bennett, the Karate Kid from Sheerness, Kent picked up the under 9's BNMMA 2006 Karate World title in October following 16 tough rounds at Crystal Palace.

Richard's father Mick said "I'm really proud of him because it's a great achievement. He started fighting at 9am and didn't finish until 5pm. To fight 16 times in one day is tough for anybody, let alone an eight-year-old."

Richard trained at the Sheerness Karete Academy under Sensei Steve Evans who also trained others to take first prizes in the Island competition in September.

Training is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm for four to eight-year-olds, and 6pm to 7pm for eight-year-olds and above and adults.
