U10s Div 2 League Results & Tables

Fife 1 Appleton 1. Well after being a very close run thing Garswood are league winners, well done! We drew 1 -1 with a well organised Fife team on Saturday. Fife dominated the 1st half, and were deservedly 1-0 up at half time. As the second half progressed the Appleton spirit started to kick in and the boys started to find form, when the equaliser finally came, after a fine shot by William, the boys really pushed on, this was more like the Appleton we have seen all season. Unfortunately the winner wouldn't come despite some good penetration and fine attempts which were met by a fine display of goal keeping. This really was a game of two halves! Fife had a couple of chances late in the game also which made it an interesting and exciting game, a draw was probably a fair result. Well done to Appleton boys for there fine second half effort on Saturday and right through the season, it has been a pleasure to watch you play. Also the way you guys handled the disappointment of not winning the league was a credit to you! Well done Appleton boys!
